Description:

As minimal as I can go!

-Big update!! repacked the theme to include "ghost dark" for light backddrops! (screen shot 2)
-WOOPS! since adding dark ghost I added the wrong normal ghost theme with the old apps icon I have changed this now iys back to normal sorry!

This theme builds upon one of my previous themes \"sleek shells\"

pure transparency for top and bottom panels, and for workspace switcher and dash.

I left the menus ect coloured because transparent menus are too difficult to read against light backdrops.

Fully Compatible with Gnome 3.2

-The wallpaper is a default from ubuntu, the ghost dark image is from my deviant gallery. screen shot 3 is also my image but theme modified to have no activities icon to be even more minimal Link http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Senses?content=147533

- logout/shut down boxes are also transparent

-to use the theme simply extract to your .themes folder in your home folder. Then set using gnome tweak tool!

-UPDATE!!!

-new apps icon and transition effect as requested by users!!

Hey thanks for the feedback, I'll up date with s slicker transition pretty soon. I wanted the activities icon to be a bit different but standout. I'll test a few things and repost later in the week!

Cheers

WOW, superfast at providing an update. Just downloaded and now much smoother. Just looking for an icon set now to finish my December desktop. ( I change every month.)

Nothing fancy. I simple circular gradient fill with gimp. I think the problem people were having with the original icon (it was cool btw), is that with a fully transparent panel, most wallpapers made it lose detailing. From a design standpoint, working with fully transparency, and knowing that people aren't going to be using near solid color backgrounds (usually), i would think hard, bold shapes with minimal detailing. I would also consider strongly to have a pixel or 2 black or white outline on the icon to better distinguish its shape further.

The way I prefer it, though the download isnt like this, is with no icon in the corner at all. But thats just me!
