Description:

* Introduction *

This package contains a gtk 3 theme template.
I am not a themer, so if something is wrong, let me know!
I made this since gtk 3 is quite new, and theming is not easy.
This might make it easier for some people.

Everything in the template path is public domain.
The rest is GPL3 licensed.

Please see the README included in the package for more information.

I remember being frustrated by Google for not turning out any theming tutorials for GTK+3. And the people at GNOME don't seem to have much documentation on the stuff either...

At any rate, this is awesome and deserves better ratings. Thanks!

 Are you freakin' serious???

So, in order to just freakin' read your documentation, I have to compile it. To do that, you want me to first install from source gtk-doc and gtk 3 (by which I suppose you mean gtk+3), AND to do that, deal with dependency hell: glib-2.0, atk, pango, cairo, cairo-gobject, gdk-pixbuf-2.0, so far, and gee, where has Ubuntu hidden those this time? Did it ever occur to you that it might be useful to, you know, compile the documentation and paste it into a simple text file for download? Astonishing, astonishing, astonishing.

I have no idea how you got that amazingly wrong idea.

For the full gtk theming documentation, just google it, and find: http://developer.gnome.org/gtk3/3.3/GtkCssProvider.html

To be able to create a *fresh* template from the most recent gtk sources, only then you would have to go through hoops.

PS: A readme is included, as are some comments in the template files themselves.

PPS: Learn to read.
