Description:

Windows 8 modern UI (metro) metacity theme.

Please rate it if you like or/and uses !

This is my very 1st metacity theme creation.

gtk theme is here:

Please note that there is a metacity bug on the maximize button with some dialogs, bug opened here: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=695519

hello,
This is my current ubuntu 13.04 desktop:

I've also created an livecd, which will be released in few weeks (see my two sourceforge net pages/projects).

Win 7 is the version before win 8.If the win 7 design is to a certain degree compatible with gtk3, the win 8 "gui" schould be too

I'm sure that some conky and screenlets scripts could emulate parts of the the very unintuitive metro ui.

If you need help to write the tickboxes or something else for the gtk3 (wion8 like) theme,please send me a message. I will try to help you then.

Is this supposed to be working in gnome 3.6 and above? I cannot get it to work:( maybe the format is different, I see themes names metacity-2 and 3.. otherwise very nice and the gtk is also working well

if they say silver i choose gold..
