Description:

During the interim while I work on version 2 of \"The Red and The Black I offer this little taste of things to come. Notice upper Metacity and its looks from red, green blue active, then blue, green red. Header added to calender to accentuate the month. Is an attempt to change calender aspects to those of the normal shell on Gnome or Classic desktop, which is a little nicer to look at! Text is also 3 different colors to add to looks in some areas. Hopefully people like this, once again comments welcome, spam is not!

I put it together and my wife said the same thing about it! I figured since I have seen some ugly ones on here that took off, would just add a few myself! Also, some might like it!(old adage "Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder") Mistakes will be eventually eliminated as am in the process of a whole new design. Remember, I only have a short time in this and is taking me time to get things correct!I also appreciate everyone's patience as I learn how to improve these themes!

Good theme to learn about gtk theming; time ago i was doing so too. Good luck and find the time for what you like to do, but do not ignore family, be wise.

No.1 you are very very wise!!! Thanks for understanding all this and knowing where it all leads! I do my best to spread time with everyone at home and here. I only got into this to help people that do not understand how to even come close to making themes, even though I am not so great at it! Since the information is lacking on the net, I figure is the best way to get whatever I do know out to as many as possible. Previously, I was very upset at a comment and claimed only a few more to go. I then realized, The RGB needs a 2nd version complete with instructions. I am in the process as time permits, to provide all the details I know about theme making. I love all the ideas on here! I simply want to help and insure those ideas keep prospering! I estimate somewhere around another week to complete this project. Then I will move on to do my best and learn more about all this, plus Gnome shell. I just want to bring control of themes to the user. If I do not reach that goal, least I can do is give the best possible help for someone else to!
