Depends on  GNOME 2.x
Downloads:  1081
Submitted:  Apr 18 2008
Updated:  May 29 2008

Description:

This is a torrentsearch screenlet, it's my first screenlet and my first endaviour into the python world.

#if you want an improvement? Please post a comment...

There is an option in the properties menu to select wich site(s) you want to be searched.

Possibilities are:
Thepiratebay, Mininova and Torrentz

Just install it in your screenlet directory.

If you have any results just click the blue link, and it should download the .torrent file.
#######################################
The links of ThePiratebay and Mininova will now directly be opened in your default Torrent application.
Torrentz links will be opened in your default browser, because it's a search engine itself, containing numerous links for one torrent file.

Changelog:

Added middle mouse button event.
Clicking the middle mouse button will open the details of the torrent link, in your default browser.

Yeah you're a nice lad

Your torrentsearch screenlet wasn't downloadable for a very long time.
That was the foremost reason why I created this one.

Ok sitemanagers Admins or whatever, please remove my screenlet.

can you change the search engine, instead of mininova and piratebay, with torrentz.com that has more sources?

Hi. Why don't you join the 3rd-party-screenlets team ( https://launchpad.net/~3rd-party-screenlets-team ) That way, you can work directly in bzr (after you change something, you run one line in terminal, and it's uploaded). Packages are made, so your users get updates via the package manager.
