Description:

Are you like me and like the new Ubuntu Radiance theme but don't like the buttons on the left hand side of the window? Well here is my small contribution that allows you to move the window controls where ever you like without them looking strange, basically I've just removed the silly border around the circle icons.

This is my first ever theme contribution/mod.

to install un-tar the archive

overwrite /usr/share/themes/Radiance/metacity-1/

with the one from the un-tarred archive and logout and log back in again.

Then customise the window settings via gconf-editor.

Thanks in advance, I hope you enjoy it.

It looks like gnome-do, but I cannot make it stand elsewhere than bottom of screen.

Thanks

Hello There, the Dock is called Docky, it was at one point apart of gnome do, but has since diverged and now is it's own project, to find out more go to http://do.davebsd.com/wiki/Docky - If you want to install it on ubuntu see the launchpad project at https://launchpad.net/~docky-core/+archive/ppa - To move it to the side of the screen, open up the preference window via clicking the docky icon on the dock and just select to dock and drag it to wherever you it placed. I hope this helps, Martin.

Thanks so much, this really helps, I have gnome-do but I did not realize there is a separate project.
