Description:

A new wonderful iconset made by Mystras team.This package contains a specific icon theme for linux, special thanks to Uri Herrera the father of Nitrux Os for his help, support and his ability to draw new beautiful icons.We tried to create a complete iconset for linux, that should fit every desktop environment.This icon set was inspired by Faenza, but its appearance is much more simple and minimalistic

Ottimo set di icone, veramente belle ma pessima l'idea di inserirle in una cartella /usr/share/icon con i relativi permessi. Al momento dell'estrazione tracker-extrat è andato in loop con cpu al massimo e non esiste modo di risolvere il problema e questo sia su unity che su gnome shell in due diverse partizioni, ho dovuto disinstallare tracker e traker-extrat per risolvere. Per cortesia metti in download la sola cartella "Potenza" con normali permessi. Un ultima cosa 750 MB per un set di icone è una follia giusto per fare un esempio l'conset Faenza che è il più completo che esista pesa 120 MB.
Detto questo, come ti ho detto, l'iconset è molto bello.

Excellent set of icons, really beautiful but very bad idea to put them in a folder / usr / share / icon with its permission. At that time, tracker-extrat went in loop with cpu to the maximum and there is no way to solve the problem in unity or gnome shell in two different partitions, I had to uninstall tracker and tracker-extrat to solve. Please add to download only the folder "Potenza" with normal permissions. Il set è stato pacchettizzato come deb e testato su ubuntu 12.10 dove ha funzionato perfettamente, ti ringrazio per il consiglio provvedo a pacchettizzarlo diversamente così che sia più facile da istallare.

Mi rendo conto delle dimensioni, ma è un set di icone basato su oxygen, ho cercato di coprire veramente tutte le icone, e so di non esserci ancora riuscito a pieno, parlo sopratutto delle action, dove ancora c'è da aggiungere, non vuole essere un set di icone che copre la maggior parte di quelle usate, vuol essere il set di icone di default della distribusione Mystras OS, quindi possibilmente vuole coprire tutto il possibile, non si vuole essere sufficienti, si vuol essere definitivi.

The set was packaged as a deb and tested on Ubuntu 12.10 where worked perfectly, thank you for the advice I provide to package in a different manner for an easier installation.

I know that it has a big size, but it is a set of icons based on oxygen, one of most complete iconset, I really tried to cover all the icons, and I know it's not full yet.

I speak especially about the actions, where there is more to be added,This icon set does not want simply covers most of those used, it wants to be the default set of icons of Mystras OS. So, possibly, want to cover all possible.

It doesn't want to be sufficient, it is meant to be definitive.

Thanks a lot for this great theme.
It takes up 758.7 MB, but it's worth every MB of it ;-)
And still incomplete?
Perhaps you can also put a sort of "template" icon so that some perfectionist users can "copy & paste" icons from their specific applications (for example, I have medit text editor, OmegaT and Virtaal CAT tools, GoldenDict, etc.) into that template to create a more consistent look?
Secondly, I think a "folder-drag-accept" icon showing a standard folder icon opened, and a "folder-tar" icon are also needed.
Thirdly, it seems creating mono-light/dark icon sets based on ubuntu-mono-dark/light will help resolve a couple of issues in the unity top panel for Ubuntu-Unity users.

this is a really nice idea, you can just do it going to scalable folder, there is every icon in svg format ( it should be considered a vector template )

feel free to make new icons and send me your suggestion for next update ^_^

ottimo tema! potresti fare le tray-icon di dropbox e transmission chiare? (stesso colore di quella di networkmanager). Uso un pannello nero e ner su nero non si vede nulla. Grazie!!

I'd like to report a bug that occurs in Ubuntu 12.10 (with Unity): the power icon is missing under /usr/share/icons/Potenza/22x22/status

I've fixed it by copying the corresponding Faenza icons: system-devices-panel.png, system-devices-panel-alert.png and system-devices-panel-informations.png

Also, would it be possible to release a variant for dark panels as well? Because the current theme only works for light panels so it doesn't work with the default GNOME Shell theme or the default Ubuntu theme (Ambiance).

E' lo stesso per me: usando gnome-shell le icone della tray risultano nere su nero (scuro) e quindi non si vedono.

note that this set of icons is very large, not only change most of the system icons but also those of many common programs, as many applications about word processing, file compression, image editing, etc.

I understand this, but what I mean was: many other themes don't have this cache file and I couldn't see any difference when I deleted it.
I don't know what I will miss when I delete this file.
