Description:

I thought it would be very nice to have something like that.
When you got bookmarks, but you don't want to have thousands of them just for getting into special music-directories or something.
This should solve this problem, I think it's very easy.
I also think thats its not difficult to implement. This could be a change of the coming Gnome-Version.

Ideas and improvements are welcome! :-)

Changelog:

1.0 first release
1.1 added another menu for better visualization of the problem

In the world without walls and fences, who need Windows and Gates?

Overcomplicated in my opinion. Better use this place for unmount button.

In the current (new) Gnome-release there was a unmount-button for nautilus added, I haven't checked yet, but there's enough space to add one in the places-menu

it has to be something like in [this link]*1 on the left, where the Audio-CD is.

try file-browser-applet

it's an extra applet and not in the places menu, though, but it does exactly that

Yeah, that's what I was talking about. But it still would be nice to integrate this (optional activatable) into the "places"-menu.

Thanks for finding the package.
