................................................................................................................

Hello, I am happy that you found my Icon-Theme. I put lots of work into it. It's still far from perfect, but made great progress during the last year. I know, nowadays people like flat, tile-like icons. Consistency really matters, but I wanted to create a beautiful icon theme which meets the criteria of being consistent, but still giving you unique beauty with great detail. I hope you like it as much as I do and don't hesitate to comment if you have any problems with it ;)

................................................................................................................

= Installing =

- Script (RECOMMENDED) -
Unpack Kawaiki-Icon-Theme.tar.gz and then use the installation script from the command line (pathes may be different on your pc)

$ cd ~/Downloads/Kawaiki-Icon-Theme
$ ./INSTALL.sh

(ATTENTION - beta - should be safe but I am not responsible for any damage)

- Manually -
Download and unpack to ~/.icons or /usr/share/icons
additionally you'll have to copy folders from "brightness" according to the brightness of your GTK theme and an index-file from "Theme-Index"-Folder

- PPA (not up-to-date, please use script instead) -
Ubuntu users may use Kawaiki PPA now:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:eckert-georg/kawaiki && sudo apt-get update

- in Ubuntu:
sudo apt-get install kawaiki-ubuntu

- in Xubuntu
sudo apt-get install kawaiki-xubuntu

- in UbuntuGNOME
sudo apt-get install kawaiki-icon-theme

................................................................................................................

= Issues =

PLEASE REPORT if you find any mismatching monochrome icons when using Ambience, Radience, elementary-xfce, Numix presets from the installation script! Only that way we'll get a perfect set one day.

You may have noticed, that some actions icons (searching glass, arrows and so on) are too bright - that's because I am working with a dark GTK-Theme right now, as soon as I have designed all icons, I will give you the option to choose between icons for dark and bright themes ;)

It is very hard to design a theme with monochrome icons right now, as GTK2 und GTK3 are still mixed in most desktops and you need dark icons in GTK3, where you'd need bright ones at the same time, which is impossible.

Great work. I also have noticed this new trend of flat icon themes as you pointed out in the description. I like both I am torn to make a decision. Its good to have choice and this icon theme does a great job.

Hey, I'll make it available as soon as I can - I just started working on it again, two days ago - in the meanwhile, use the installation skript ;)
