Description:

Just an idea ... not finished yet

The idea is to make things as easy as possible. Next step will be adding gradients and make the whole look better.

Thanks too Jareez for the wallpaper

New...

I've got an idea for a sort of quickaccess on folders on the desktop. Click one time on the folder --> a circle appears with the most used or most recent files in it. Doubleclick --> Folder opens

 Like quickaccess idea

I'd prefer to have the quickaccess thing bound to middle click, but as long as you can change the option, I'm okay with it.

Also, beware of making things too easy-- sometimes even experienced users are restricted to the level of a beginner due to a UI that only has beginner-level features.

The main issue I see with your desktop concept is this:

It tries too hard to integrate too much. If I interpret the screenshot right, you can click on "applications," select "firefox," then go to "bookmarks." This kind of thing would either require some way for the program to communicate with the desktop environment, or the desktop environment to spy on the program. Neither of these are good ideas; neither of these are needed. You don't need everything and the kitchen sink.

Thank you for your opinion on this...

I thought to start the quickaccess with the middle mouse button, too.

Desktop--> This is just a collection of ideas and as i have written I haven't finished my work yet.

best wishes

I have a couple more ideas for this, I'll put those up seperately but credit you for the original idea.
