Submitted:  Aug 1 2007
Updated:  Apr 17 2009

Description:

This theme has soft and warm colours, all elements are clearly visible. It is intended for people who have to spend the whole day in front of their monitors, so it is neither irritating nor too dull or transparent.
*********************
Added later:
1.The same design theme with copper colour called Copper Mine.
2. The proposed GTK 2.x theme with customizable colours (based on the default Ubuntu Human theme).
3. two matching pictures for Gnome panel background.

The window shadows are less saturated than shown in the second screenshot.

Changelog:

Added a tar.gz file with both Emerald themes and panel background pictures. Use it if your browser displays the theme file as text instead downloading it.

The default colour for uhc-soft GTK theme is green. To change it to match Copper Mine theme go to
System -> Preferences -> Theme
select uhc-soft, if necessary
click Customize, then Colors.

Window Background color is #F7F4F1
Input Boxes is white (#FFFFFF) and
Selected Item is #F8CCA5
Text is black everywhere.

I am away for a couple of weeks, but when back I will continue modification my uHuman-soft Metacity theme to make it looking more like this one.
There is nothing common between Metacity and Emerald themes, and Metacity is much harder to make, but it is a good idea to use matching theme when one has to switch Compiz-Fusion off.

Very good theme, it's clear, warm colors and combines transparent borders with thin Mac OSX style buttons.
Nice work, congrats'!

Sorry for this, sometimes the browser is going to display theme files like text instead of downloading them. I will add them packed into the archive file to prevent this strange behaviour.
