Description:

Faience is a Work In Progress that include GTK3, GTK2, Metacity and Gnome-Shell themes and an icon theme based on Faenza.

Support Gnome 3.6 only.

Installation
Extract the zip file and put the \\\'Faience\\\' folder inside your ~/.themes directory. Use the Gome-Shell theme extension to select Faience theme.

Launchpad PPA
Faience GTK, Gnome-shell and icon themes are available to install via a PPA repository. Open a terminal and run :

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tiheum/equinox

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install faience-theme faience-icon-theme

* GTK3: transitions on buttons are disabled to speed up the rendering of the theme when switching from one window to another and avoid memory leaks on some distros
* GS: add a background on the dash launcher which make it more usable with the great 'dash to dock' extension

this is a great theme... thanks you for your time and efforts to create it.

it seems that I cant get the titlebar to work properly. Even after changing the theme to the right one, I still see the old one (see pic in link below). Do you know how i can fix it?

Same issue here, ubuntu 12.10 updated from 12.04

Metacity theme path was changed to .local/...
As a workaround put custom themes into /usr/share/themes/

Could you elaborate on this? I don't have root access, so I can't put my theme files there. Can I put these files in a folder in ~/.local? Why do you mention metacity? I thought it was not used anymore by gnome 3.

 sound and brightness indicators

Hello, i have a little bug when i switch dow or up th volume or the screen brightness. I cant see the real level of the volume/brightness because its the same color as the background color.
By the way if you could theese indicators into darker colors that would be great. Thanks!

I've taken the liberty of creating a matching Theme (formerly called Persona) for Firefox and LibreOffice to use the same background in the toolbar of those applications.
