Want some missing icon, report problems? Do it on GitHub page: https://github.com/franksouza183/EvolvereSuit/issues.

Downloading:

All Adf.ly links were removed, download it from GitHub project

Installation:

Copy/move the content of icons folder to ~/.local/share/icons/, or in /usr/share/icons/ for all users. Use a tweaking tool to choose your icon theme, like Gnome Tweak tool.

NOTES

1 - Earlier, evolvere icon theme was created exclusively for light environments, however, after several requests I decided to adapt it for dark environments, which you can use it through the variants "dark fallback"

2 - All icons with sizes smaller or equal to 24px are monochromatic (yep, all !!), with very few exceptions, such as emblems and some actions icons. This prevents breakage of standardized icons in some situations. So, if you see small colorful icons, is because they have not yet been adjusted, however, they will be. I plan to create a totally colorful variant, but that future may not be so close.

 Volume OSD icons poor resolution in Gnome Shell

 by AdON on: Mar 1 2015

The volumne OSD icon while changing the volume via the keys looked terrible. If deleted some entries in the index.theme like
[8x8/status]
Size=8
Context=Status
Type=Threshold
up to size 24 and now it looks sharp.
Thanks for your work!

+1
I really love this theme, but even after upping the "[8x8/status]" to "Size=24", the volume icon still looks terrible.

hi,
My distro is debian 7 wheesy. I was wondering if I could use your icons on that. I already cloned to it but when I wanted to add the ppa it turned out it's for ubuntu. Is it a way that I can use it on debian ?!
Thanks in advance ! :D

Unfortunately, as said in this noobslab post (http://www.noobslab.com/2015/03/evolvere-icon-suite-available-for.html), the PPA is only available for Ubuntu 15.04/14.10/14.04/12.04/Linux Mint 17.1/17/13, but there is a deb file for Debian and Ubuntu derivatives too.

 A Big Thanks!

I wanted to take the time to thank you. The icons are beautiful and consistent. I'm amazed by how many applications are covered, as there are only a handful that I use that still have their default icons. The variety in colors, vibrancy and dark/light versions are also a big bonus.

It looks like you work hard at keeping these up-to-date and helping fix any issues your users might be having, no matter how trivial.

I'm impressed ♥

I don't work alone, I created some scripts that do work in 1 minute, which manually would take 1 or 2 days, more specifically in the construction of variants, I would be crazy, haha. Even still hard work, it is gratifying to see my work appreciated, thank you for the praise and support! About your not covered apps, see if any issue has already been opened for them (https://github.com/franksouza183/EvolvereSuit/issues), if not, you are very welcome to open one. Thanks again!

It is by far the best icon theme since the Faenca series and derivates. This was the first icon theme I changed to after years ;-)

Many thanks! I understand the feeling, I am also a fan of Faenza package. The Matthieu James's work is awesome and inspired me.

All your work is amazing my friend. One thing though there is so much amazingness!

I think the 1.3 GB size might hold some back from adopting this amazing set.

Have you considered offering a condensed version of maybe just a Main varaint? And then doing some Inheriting to slim it down. Perhaps a build with just "Flat Vivd, Sunken and its colors"

I think a alternate 100- 180 MB slim version would boost you to new levels.
