Description:

D4X (Downloader for X) is a very fully featured gtk download manager. Unfortunately, it intergrates very badly with gnome. I got slightly fed up with its ugliness (http://www.krasu.ru/soft/chuchelo/d4x1_big.png), and have done my best to improve that with a Tango theme.

For installation instructions, see the readme.

Changelog:

10/12/07: Refreshed most icons, repackaged, prepared to work with the upcoming Tango Generator release.

Thanks :) I was, of course, helped by the ugliness of d4x by default (IMHO), its good support for skinning and a complete lack of available skins.

 Wonderful theme, but

This theme is awrsome. But my screen is kind of small. And those icons on the right most column are simply huge. Maybe it is better we limit the size to no more than 32x32???

Thanks - I'll look into it. What resolution is this at? (so I can get an idea of how many people it effects). I actually used the same sizes etc for all icons as the most complete included theme - I just replaced the pngs

I'll certainly look into it and will post an update in a few days. Thanks for the feedback.

You can also change the trayicon and the DnD-basket by copying both nt.png and nt24.png into the tango/misc directory and adding this to the xml files:

<dndbasket>
<icon file="tango/misc/nt.png"></icon>
<dropicon file="tango/misc/nt.png"></dropicon>
</dndbasket>

<main>
<tray file="tango/misc/nt24.png"/>
</main>

I see in your app menu a tangoish deluge icon, where did you grab it?

Your desktop looks really great!
