I created one switch launcher in a panel pointing to "analogclock.sh" (1 click opens the conky, 1 another click closes)

V5

Imagemagick and "Arial" font must be installed on their system.

Conky startup with the file "~/conky/analog_clock1/analog.sh"
Automatically change the date after midnight.
Change in the clock faces.

V4.1

Having converted the PNG clock faces (RGB to indexed color) to decrease the weight of the images, I lost in rendering quality. So I did the reverse action images for more fluid and smooth contours.

V4

Replacing "clock.lua" with "cairo_clock.lua" of kit_oz.
This change allows the use of images in PNG format for the clock hands.
On my system, "conky" did not find the images reported in the "cairo_clock.lua" original (path problem).
I made a small change on line 25 of this file:
Original line: image_path os.getenv = ('HOME') .. 'conky/analog_clock1/theme /'
and after change: image_path os.getenv = ('HOME') .. '/conky/analog_clock1/theme/'
I just add a "/" before conky.
All images are in the "theme" folder.
The images of the current clock are in the folder "/theme/actuel/"

V3
69 cadrans d'horloge.

69 clock faces.
Random change of the clock every 900s.
If you do not want this change, comment by a "#" the line "${execpi 900 ~/conky/analog_clock1/choice.sh}" of ". Conkyrc_analog1" and then specify on the next line the exact name of the clock (theme folder) you want.

V2
Ajout de différentes horloges dans le sous-dossier "theme" du dossier "analog_clock1" , à configurer dans le ".conkyrc_analog1" pour le changer.

Adding different clocks in the subfolder "theme" in the folder "analog_clock1", to configure the ". Conkyrc_analog1" to change it.

First, we need "Conky" installed on your computer.
Unpack the tar.gz file and copy "analog_clock1" folder in the conky folder in the Home (/home/"name of your session"/conky/analog_clock1).
Copy ".conkyrc_analog1" in the Home (/home/"name of your session"/.conkyrc_analog1).
Start by typing in a terminal conky -c ~/.conkyrc_analog1.
I hope these explanations will be sufficient, if not, do not hesitate to let me know.
Good night.
PS: Excuse my English, because as everyone knows, the French are no foreign language.

This is an amazing work. Thanks for sharing (and making the scripts so nicely).
I see that you used my pink clock, thanks for this too. I would only suggest making it opaque rather than transparent.
There are some clocks that need a little polishing for use in a dark background, there's a small irregular crop white line in some of the clock faces.
Apart from that, it's still my favorite (and it's so much better to use conky than anything else).

Still another suggestion: to rename conky directory to .conky: it's kinda odd to have an unhidden conky directory along with my music, video and documents directories. I did this manually for all the scripts, but I guess many people would apreciate this change.

Good morning.
Sorry for the bad quality of your clockface "pink", I got the image in adeskclock-0.2.0 (adesklets) that I used before but no longer works on my system.
I reworked the image and I added a link to the view, is that okay?
http://img801.imageshack.us/img801/23/analogpink.jpg
I wanted to reduced the weight of my images by converting them (RGB to indexed color) and I think they have lost a lot of quality. I think I will, thereafter, recover the original images.
Forgive my bad English, being French, and as everyone knows, the French of my age are zero in a foreign language.

Yes, this looks much better.
Do you want any help with this work? If so, just drop me a line with a workplan, see if I can give you a hand.
BTW your english is perfect. I, being brazilian, can really tell ;-)

I converted all my images in RGB mode to get a better quality rendering in my new version 4.1.
If you are at drawing you can create clock faces and hands and send them to me, for I, I did not create myself, I found them on internet and have a little reworked.
With that, I wish you good night and thank you kindly help me.

Hi
I'm not really into drawing, but I can get by with GIMP. I wish I still had the xcf of that pink clock. Still, I'll try to work on some of those faces and polish them a little. It could take a while though, since I'm loaded with work and study. Cheers./
