 Great work

by nuliukas on: Dec 27 2013

Score 50%

Now that you've included mimetypes, this set is really promising!

However, look at http://tinypic.com/r/98d82x/5 – do you plan to do anything about this? It looks slightly half baked and – what's more important – distracting to have regular folder icons in the bookmarks mixed with those special folder icons.

Thanks, both are included although you'll have to modify their .desktop files to make them use the correct icons.

 Cool theme!

So, some different apps get a same icons. For example: Curlew and HandBrake, Mediainfo and mkvinfo.
Didn't find icon for Nestopia, Lazarus, Ninja IDE,.
Think that icon for Dosbox is cool but make false impresion about it.
Very cool theme, man. Thanks a lot.

Yes some use the same, it's not plausible to make 1530 (or a whole lot more if we include the complete set) of anything in such a short time, in this case icons, as a simple an minimalistic as they look.

But practices aside, we don't consider that an issue nor a problem that needs a fix.

I'll add the icons.

From what I understand Dosbox is a DOS emulator, I may be too young for that (to remember DOS, I do recognize and used MS DOS though) but anything to me that looks retro themed, reminds me of that 8 bit, 16 bit era.

Think that "Space Invaders", and your icon of dosbox really looks like an typical enemy from this old game, was on arcade machines and early consoles and it isn't connected with DOS, it's connected with MAME or same, imho.
Also what about icons for games, for example Torchlight? It may be simple T letter on styled background. :)

There's very popular cliche which usually looks line an terminal icon with "C:\". Simple enough and understandable.

The image link shows a really small image. Pidgin status icons *should* be displayed, what desktop environment are you using?.

I recommend you to use imgur to upload the screenshots, also please report the issues on github to keep track of them.

Thanks.
