I took Clearlook-Industrial and added the Mist color scheme then added the iconrc from Industrial-myst.

I just thought I would share.

firefox adjusts his look automatically to the gtk2 theme.. at least the fedora & ubuntu versions do.. just try setting the default theme...

The Debian/Ubuntu devs modified firefox to pull in your toolbar icons. I think its package "mozilla-firefox-gnome-support". Ya its pretty sweet if you have alternate icons than the stock gtk ones.

Im not sure what other distros have something similiar. But it would be nice if you could just d/l a theme to get this effect.

 Some problems

Synaptic doesn't use the theme for some reason as well as the update manager in Ubuntu. Not sure whats causing this...

Thats because those programs are running as *root* not as *you*. And I imagine you installed the theme only for yourself and not systemwide (~/.themes).

fix1:copy the theme systemwide
# sudo cp -rf ~/.themes/Clearlooks-Mist /usr/share/themes/

fix2:use another theme for root(what i like so i there is a noticeable difference when running something with root priveleges)
# sudo ln -s /usr/share/themes/Clearlooks/gtk-2.0/gtkrc /root/.gtkrc-2.0

Hah! You are right! I'm dumb when it comes to non-critical stuff :(

Thanks a lot. Thats a good suggestion to have a different theme for root!

Great theme. Where can I get the wallpaper? I scoured Google for a Ubuntu wallpaper like the one in the screenshot but I couldn't find it.

I bit late and i dont have that computer any longer. But here is how i did it.

i edited the brown version in gimp. I changed the mode to Greyscale then back to RGB. Then used the color to alpha filter to make black alpha. I then added a blue layer underneath.
