Breadcrumbs for browsers

Description:

Why not?

Breadcrumb for browsers is a good idea, there could be some issues to resolve, but breadcumbs would allow a faster navigation in use with other addons, like \\\"fast dial\\\" for example. Also, it allow a better use of space, less clicks, intuitive interface.

My idea is to show a resizable breadcrumb on place of the text box, also a button wich add the possibility to change between breadcrumb and text box. The separator character between each button is \\\"/\\\", also, for search engines, show the request after the end of domain, for example, show \\\"?q=this+is+my+search\\\". Colored buttons by domain is also a optional good idea.

Long url: When you search some webs, they show a very long URL, for example, this:

\\\"/16x128x134x16x128x134x16x128x134x16x128x134x16x128x134x16x128x134x16x128x134x16x128x134x16x128x134x16x128x134\\\"

can be show like this:

\\\"/16x128x134x16x128x1...\\\"

And then if you want to see the URL just press the edit button.

You can download better quality images at right, .zip archive.
Mockup not finished.

I like the idea but there is no reason for the back foreword buttons anymore.
