I even didn't know that was customizable.
Thanks for all these info.
I'm not sure that I'll use your theme for this, but rated good :)

Yes this is cool. Can you give us some tips on how we might make some of our own? What is the .glade file?

hello! thanks for the kind words :)

in short, the .glade file is an xml file with a .glade extension. and the .gtkrc is a litte more styling.

basically all you need to do is repalce the images and change the theme name in the two files.

unless you WANT to change some of the code . i.e. colors, positioning.. etc.

 Installation

You might want to think about editing your installation instructions, they still says "susbuntu" Some might get confused.

Do you know why it is squashed on my screen? it's annoying me.

Other than that, nice lock dialog.

 Fixed my problem

Before I mentioned that it appeared squashed on my screen, I seem to have found a fix, or a very basic workaround.

For future reference, I just added a black to transparent gradient with 0.1 opacity to the transparent image, and saved it. It's so faint that it's unnoticeable.

I think the problem may have been with the insertion of a completely blank .png at the top.

hey thanks for pointing out the instalation instructions, i copy/pasted and obviously missed one! ill fix that.

as far as it being squished, that has nothign to do with the "empty" .png

can you take a screenshot so i can see exactly what you mean?

kuz the only thing i did was instead of changing code, i made the emtpy image you know? and thats not even the image that covers the dialog, but it goes over it, or on top of it.

so im not too sure...

to take a screenshot of the lock screen, go to menu > accessories > Take screenshot; set a delay of 5 seconds, lock ur screen and move ur mouse so itll show the lock box... wait a few seconds then unlock. them save the screenshto!

Ok, I came to do a screenshot, and it had sorted itself out. I downloaded it again, and tested an unmodified version.

It works fine now, so I can't really show you.

Bascially, the lock-dialog was the standard size on as on Ubuntu, but the background was scalled vertically to fit.
