Looks promising. If you made the look a little more modern, and maybe not quite as simple, I think you are on to something with that terminal in there. Good Luck

especially I like the idea of the mouse-gestures to split nautilus, could have been one of apple's ideas so clever it is

I had a similar idea, it would be comfortable for drag`n`drop and easier than managing tabs...

Damn, it's a whole fucking shell. Might as well make it as such. Great idea, mouse-driven GL-based tiling WM is what we need.

There are enough out there, with WMFS you could make this possible without any problems, and its mouse-driven...
