 Nautilus section?

by Rafterman on: Jun 18 2007

Hi, I have a big question for the site admins. I've recently created a project here that uses a virtually unknown feature of the Gnome desktop: Nautilus scripts. I've had some very positive feedback since launching it, yet something is bothering me a bit.

KDE has a similar feature known as service menus, and KDE-Look even has a section dedicated to them, with a very vibrant and bustling community around it.

There is not, however, a Gnome-Look counterpart to it, as my project seems to be the only Nautilus script collection, and it is currently categorized under "Other".

So my question is this: Is it possible to create a "Nautilus Scripts" section on Gnome-Look? And if not, why?

My project:

 Murrina help

I want to make GTK themes using the Murrina engine. Now I know how most people say modify other peoples until you get what you want but even with a very nicely laid out gtkrc it would take me forever to find what the differences and technicalities that there is. So I was wondering if anyone had a nice template or gtkrc that is well commented to tell you what things are and what they do.

Does anyone have anything like this and if so can someone give me a copy of the template? or email me it?

Hello, as you can see in this screen shot http://www.up.allucinator.pl/uploads/1191183003.jpg (down left corner) there is aa applet (cpu freq) but on white background. I'm not sure why it doesn't use panel background color. Probably I've missed something in code. Any ideas?
