 Install theme

Hello, all.

You excuse for a silly question, but I here already all the day cannot
install a new theme for a desktop!
And at install that for a desktop in gnome produces an error
the file format is invalid. In an Internet on this question could not find anything.

gnome2-2.16.1_2,FreeBSD6.2

Has made:
1. Copied the unpacked theme in ~/.themes/name_themes
2. I start installation by that of under the user of group wheel, and I install so:
system-> preferences-> theme-> install theme-> and here already indicate on archive "name_themes.tar.gz"

But it does not turn out in any way!

And if I incorrectly do something, please explain as it is necessary.
And for what menu installation themes is used?

Help me please, very much I ask!
It is very necessary to customize.

My ICQ: 321101694

Thank you very much in advance!!!

I am new and stuck with many of the icon and themes and windows. ssome have very weird extensions nametar.bz2 , tar.bz2.ta,nametar.gz instead of name.tar.gz, etc. some are accepted in Ubuntu and many are invalid files types or whatever. How do I fix or use these please.

 Moving buttons...

Hi,

I'm trying to get my Ubuntu a bit Mac OSX like and the only thing I need to do is change the close, minimize, maximize buttons from the right to the left.

I heard this was possible with Beryl, the only issue is you can't really install Beryl on Ubuntu 6.06. Is there another way to change this?

Thx in advance!

I'm having a little trouble uploading images. I browse, find the image, submit and then the upload times out.

Chadders.

That's my two pence worth.

My images keep reverting to what they originally were. I've reuploaded, I've deleted and uploaded, I've deleted, saved, and uploaded...
