 murrine-svn notebook issues

Is anyone else having the following 'issue' with the murrine-svn?

The notebook labels are also behaving like this:

It's only an aesthetic issue, but one that wasn't there in the last version (the overlay of pink and the stroke underneath)

hi!
I have a question!

I published a wallpaper (gnome ring) and, when I saw the "page" of the wallpaper it appears 81 downloads! But when I log in, it appears 94 downloads!

Can anyone tell me what is "wrong"?

BTW, I had the same problem when I published Chuck´s login! It used to appear more downloads when I was loged in than loged out!

New Fedora 10 User Theme Help

by gavinbrowett on: Mar 30 2009

Score 50%

Hi All,

I am completely new to Fedora core 10 and trying to make it look "nice". I have tried various themes but keep getting this engine is missing, that engine is missing etc etc etc. I am taking themes from the GTK 2.x section of the site.

Some themes do change Window colours etc but I seem to be having problems when it comes to changing Window borders. Even when I edit a theme and change to the correct Window border it remains as a pre-installed Fedora one.

Could someone help a complete noob with how to install a theme correctly on Fedora and what engines and software I need to have installed to do it correctly.

Thanks...

Well, if you start a program in a shell, you'll need to stay this shell open EXCEPT if you detach the process. For this, after running emerald, press CTRL+Z to stop the process (emerald seem to be "crashed") and then, type: bg (it make the process run in background, use the command "fg" to return the process to the foreground). Now, you can exit the terminal by typing "exit". Don't close the window with the terminal! (Because it stop all the process launched by this terminal.)

For Gnome, to make emerald start with the session, look in the Gnome Menu and search System > Preferences > Sessions. And add emerald in the "Startup programs".

I just downloaded a wonderful sound theme, and it's on my desktop and I'm able to play all the sounds, I just don't know how to add it to my sound themes so I can use it. I've done this before, I just don't remember how. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi,

You have an application for that for Gnome. In the Gnome Menu, search System > Preferences > Sound (direct command ALT+F2, type: gnome-sound-properties)

And now, select "Sounds".
