 AWN

Hello everyone!

I just downloaded the Awn dock and have set it up pretty nicely. Without changing my theme, how do I get the dock to have pop up icons when you scroll over them like an OS X dock?

 Transparent Menu Bar

I installed Packet Tracer v5.3 on Ubuntu Ultimate v2.8. I am also using the Macbuntu theme. When I open Packet Tracer the menu bar in practically invisible. How do I remove the transparent look of the interface and menu bar?

Thank you,

Sheni.

 Hi

Hi, I'm pretty sure this question has been asked and answered many times before, but I can't find the explanation thru google:

Why some applications don't load or ignore the gui themes? As far as know, there are two main widget toolkits: gtk and QT. I understand that KDE apps will not load gnome themes and viceversa, but what about openoffice or firefox? which what development tools are they made so the wont load the gui themes always?

But more over, I use at work several electronic CAD software like EagleCAD and Xilinx tools, they seem to be made in gtk because the show up using a default gnome theme, but they won't ever load any of my installed gtk styles. Is there anyway to turn this arround.

Thanks

 Need to find icon set

I used to have this icon set: http://i55.tinypic.com/25036uh.jpg
(Look at "power" button, chat icon is a green circle, etc.)

Had a hard drive failure and I've had to reinstall ubuntu (uuugghh). The last icon set I can remember installing was the Nuove XT 2.2 icon set, but when I install it now the icons don't appear correctly. Tried the fixed version too, located in the icon section on this website.

Maybe it's not the Nuove XT 2.2 icon set, does anyone recognize it? I really want it again. >_<

After surfing through weeks of my browsing history (thanks google history!) I found it:
http://linux.wareseeker.com/Desktop-Environment/nuovext-2.2.zip/290d198e92

It's the kde version? Whatever it is, it's different than the versions on this website, and looks better (in my opinion.)
