 Anyone like Solaris CDE style?

 by mike20030405 on: Nov 25 2009

Score 50%

Used to work with Sun Solaris for many years, and really like the professional looking Solaris CDE motif style.
I'd like to install this style themes for my new installed Ubuntu 9.10, but figured that all those themes are too old.
Say this "CDE-solaris"
http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/CDE-Solaris?content=19627
and this "I LOVE CDE"
http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/I+love+CDE?content=18765

So, I am not sure if those themes are still work with Ubuntu 9.10, or may you guys recommend me sth good?

well, it says gtk2.x theme, so i guess it should work.
i gave it a try and i think it worked, but had no custom window border (i don't know if it's supposed to.)

Resistance is futile.

 Scale down without blur?

I'm trying to find a way to scale down or shrink icons in Gimp without them getting blurry. I'm working with PNGs if that makes a difference.

Thanks in advance,
klemperal

The downscaling is always easier than upscaling, but still not always possible to do well. Have you tried to use different algorithms when scaling down? Everyone of them work better than others in specific kind graphics.

Found some nice knives with gr

Hey, I found some fantastic looking knives with great prices and free shipping. The website is www.liangdianup.com and these LDU Company people have bayonet knives, folders, switchblades, out the front knives, butterfly knives, and a bunch more. The web address for all of the knives is http://www.liangdianup.com/knives_1.htm
I like the all black Extrema Ratio bayonet knife the best but I also like the throwing stars.
