Whats with the new flash ads? It seems like they are automatically playing with sound. No sound, I can deal with it. But please don't make us listen to them against our will.

Just use the Adblock plugin for Firefox or Google Chrome...
That will leave this page free of ads

 Gradient in Menu Bar

by sterek on: May 2 2009

Score 50%

I'm using the "Glossy" theme in Ubuntu (which uses the Clearlooks engine) to develop an OS X style theme. I have the theme pretty well tricked out. The last thing I would like to do at this stage is blend the Menu Bar with the title bar by adding a gradient to the menu bar. I know I can have a gradient in the Menu Bar. What I would like to know is how or where to specify the Start and Stop shade or color for the Menu Bar gradient. Can anyone help me with the appropriate lines of code for the gtkrc.

Thanks for your help,
Steve
