 Dual Monitor Art

Since there is quite a lot of computer users that have a multiple monitor setup, I would be very happy to see people start posting some dual monitor wallpapers on this awesome site! We could even open a new category under Wallpaper content...what do you think?

Yeah, a category for that would be nice. I just posted a cool dual-monitor wp a few days ago. Filed it unter Wallpapers-other.

 What is it?

Hi Guys,

I am quiet new to Ubuntu and don't really know what things are yet, so my question is, in a lot of themes that people have, there is this bar along the top of the screen which displays there CPU speed, RAM, HD space and loads of other useful information. Now is this a screenlet or a desklet or neither because i would really like to have it :)

Any help would be great

Cheers

Open the Appearance Settings and Drag and Drop the Archive into the window. Customize -> Icons -> Select the desired Theme.

either run

su -c "python ./setup.py install"

or

sudo python ./setup.py install

in a terminal, inside the source-directory

 A silly question...

Why aren't gnome icon themes separated from single/custom standalone icons?

Its very frustrating to see a neat looking thumbnail only to realize its not a complete theme.Sometimes not until after I have downloaded the file.

There are two Sub-Sections: Icons and Icon-Themes [Click on Icons on the left and you'll see them]. But it's true, that many artists don't keep an eye on the right Section.
