Is it possible? I need help with it. I started the retarded group about Linux Mint. I want to delete it before I make myself look any stupider.

 panel/pidgin icons

by billybag on: Apr 4 2008

I have a question and a request... or possible just two requests.

1st Does any one have any ideas on how i can make all the icon launchers i place on my panel into one applet? the reason i ask is i have a lot of icons on my panel and every so often they get screwed up (mixed up, spaced out more than they should). Usually this stuff occurs when i resize the panel for instance. it would be neat to keep all the icons as one applet that way when i want to move my icons... i am not moving 25 icons and rather one applet.

if that makes sense. when you go from size 35 to size 27 on the panel, all the icons are really spaced out and it takes a while to put them back

2. does anyone have a good black icon theme for pidgin similar to BLACK WHITE 2 gloss?

Remember seeing this over on gnomefiles but have never used it so YMMV.

The other option is to add a drawer to the panel and put your launchers in there.

 GPL and Sources

by seraphyn on: Apr 5 2008

There's something i disunderstand and i'm thinking since 3 Years about it. Now i post this question.
Let's have a look @ http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.html
There is a small thing that only a small bunch of people respect, the sources.
I saw/see here a lot of GPL-licensed things without sources.
Why ?
Should i ask everytime for the sources ?
Don't be angry with me, but this a small eyecatcher i disunderstand...

Greetings Seraphyn
